Affiliate Terms & Conditions

1. Program Overview

The Westhuizen Weller Academy Affiliate Program allows approved affiliates to earn commissions by referring new learners to our courses and membership plans. By applying to become an affiliate, you agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions.

2. Commission Structure

• Commissions are calculated as a percentage of the net revenue (gross amount minus discounts and taxes) from referred purchases.
• The default commission rate is 10%, unless a specific campaign rate is configured.
• Commissions are initially tracked as "pending" and are reviewed before becoming payable.
• The minimum payout threshold is NZD $50.00. Payouts are processed via bank transfer or PayPal at the academy's discretion.
• Commissions are only earned on completed, non-refunded transactions.

3. Prohibited Activities

• Self-referrals: Affiliates may not earn commissions on their own purchases. Self-referral conversions will be flagged and reversed.
• Spam: Affiliates must not send unsolicited emails, post on irrelevant forums, or use any form of spam to promote their referral links.
• Coupon abuse: Affiliates must not misuse coupon codes, including sharing affiliate-only coupons with non-affiliates or stacking coupons in violation of terms.
• Brand misuse: Affiliates must not impersonate Westhuizen Weller Academy, use misleading advertising, or bid on branded keywords in paid advertising without written permission.
• Fraud: Any attempt to manipulate the tracking system, generate fake clicks, or artificially inflate conversions will result in immediate suspension and forfeiture of all pending commissions.

4. Affiliate Obligations

• Affiliates must provide accurate information during the application process, including a unique display name.
• Affiliates are responsible for ensuring their promotional content complies with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Affiliates must disclose their affiliate relationship in accordance with applicable advertising standards and consumer protection laws.
• Affiliates must keep their account information, including payment details, up to date.

5. Attribution & Tracking

• Referrals are tracked using unique referral codes embedded in affiliate links.
• Attribution follows a first-touch model: the affiliate whose link was first clicked by a referred user receives the commission.
• Attribution is recorded at the time of user registration and is non-transferable.
• The academy is not liable for tracking failures due to technical issues, browser settings, or user actions that prevent proper cookie or referral parameter storage.

6. Suspension & Termination

• The academy reserves the right to suspend or terminate any affiliate account at any time for violation of these Terms.
• Suspended affiliates will not earn further commissions. Pending commissions may be forfeited in cases of fraud or serious violation.
• Affiliates may terminate their participation at any time by contacting the academy.

7. Changes to Terms

Westhuizen Weller Academy reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting. Continued participation in the affiliate program after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

8. Limitation of Liability

The academy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in the affiliate program. The academy's total liability shall not exceed the total commissions paid to the affiliate in the preceding three (3) months.
